The Story of the Trillium Laker

The Story of the Trillium Laker illustrates the massive undertaking required to transform CSL's fleet renewal vision into reality. In December 2012, when the Baie St. Paul, Canada Steamship Lines’ first new Trillium Class Laker completed her maiden voyage, her arrival in the Port of Montreal not only symbolized a new era for shipping, but it represented a landmark achievement for the company. The first newbuild self-unloading Laker to be introduced into the Great Lakes/St. Lawrence Seaway since 1985, the Baie St-Paul was also the most technologically advanced vessel to operate in the Lakes.
