MV Baie Comeau is Canada Steamship Lines’ fourth new Trillium Class self-unloading Laker to be introduced in the Great Lakes/St. Lawrence River fleet. She arrived in the Port of Montreal from her maiden voyage on August 24, 2013.
Like all Trillium Class vessels, Baie Comeau is equipped with leading-edge technology and is designed to provide overall operational efficiency. The vessel features the latest engine technology and hull design to increase fuel efficiency and decrease air emissions, double hulls to prevent spills in the event of an accident as well as state-of-the-art cargo handling systems to minimize dust and cargo residue.
MV Baie Comeau is wholly owned and operated by CSL.
